Provides academic coaching and peer support for single parents and foster alumni (young adults aging out of care) who are pursuing their college education after a break from their secondary school education. Helps program participants obtain financial assistance to pay for classes and books through individual donations, financial aid, Pell grants, scholarships, student loans, and work-study assistance through their colleges or universities. Also assists program participants in obtaining needed support services and helps them address barriers to education. Supportive subsidized housing may be available for program participants.
